OJT - Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer position will be responsible for collaborating with Brady Manila teams and should be able to create design solutions that have high visual impact that comply with task requirements.  The work demands creative flair and up-to-date industry knowledge in terms of trending design styles and software technical skills. Applicants should be able to handle multiple projects and always comply with all deadlines.

Job Description

• Collaborate with the Brady Manila teams and provide ideas/solutions during project brainstorming and effectively design these ideas to working concepts for review.
• Gather information and resources to conceptualize and execute marketing and promotional collaterals such as flyers, posters, tarpaulins, billboards, and other collaterals for Brady Manila.
• Be able to proofread and QA projects before turning them over for review and ensure accurate and high-quality work.
• Work with creative supervisors and designers to ensure project specs are accurate for vendor production.
• Should be able to evaluate projects and provide a reasonable time frame when each project will be completed and report production concerns to the task assignee.
• Attend meetings to report project status and present projects for approval.
• May be tasked to assist in catalog production and do web design graphic work.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant knowledge, skill and experience using design software and tools such as but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
• Candidate should be able to work on both Windows and Mac OS and work with Microsoft Office. Experience with Google Tools is a plus.
• Web design experience is a plus but not required.
• Must have at least 2 years college experience in the related field.
• Must be able to pay strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Should have a good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, aggressive growth environment.
• Must have excellent organizational skills, be able to work with minimum supervision, and be a team player.
