The National Library of the Philippines (NLP) in cooperation with the Children’s Literature Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CLAPI) will conduct the Summer Kids’ Workshop on Storytelling, Puppet Making, and Arts and Crafts Activities on April 11-13, 2012 at the Children’s Library Section, Reference Division, NLP, T.M. Kalaw Street, Ermita, Manila.
The Workshop aims to: - teach the children effective techniques in storytelling;
- motivate them to love and enjoy stories; and
- provide them with opportunities to explore, create and develop their self-confidence.
Children ages 7-12 are invited to attend this activity.
Each participant shall be charged a registration fee of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP1,500.00) to cover expenses for lunch, a.m. and p.m. snacks, art materials and certificate of participation.
