The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) recently announced the authorization of BIR Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) to open/extend banking operations in order to assist the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in receiving tax payments covering the calendar year 2011.
BIR Authorized Agent Banks are now authorized to:
  • Render banking services from 9am to 5pm on March 31, 2012 and April 14, 2012
  • Extend their banking operations up to 5pm for the period April 2-16, 2012.
