Metrobank Maintaining Balance Penalty/Service Charge

One of the top banks of the Philippines, Metrobank like any other banks is running a lending business that needs constant flow of money coming in. To sustain its operations, Metrobank requires service charge or penalty for accountholders falling below their required maintaining balance. To avoid the service charge, you should know the corresponding service charge of the type of account you're applying for.

MB ATM savings account MAINTAINING BALANCE is the REQUIRED MAINTAINING before end of the month. Why they deducted 300 service charge!!! So sad!!!! Sa lahat ng bank eto yung naCHACHARGE ng walang reason.

This is quite annoying: I have linked my ATM card to paypal and have successfully transacted several times... and then all of a sudden it got reversed, and reversed, and reversed.... for 3 times, each with a P250 deduction. I was told my transaction was rejected due to a mismatch in names, how could that be (I only have one name - and I'm using the exact same name in both accounts), and why only after several transactions? And then I came to a conclusion, of course also after reading the comments above, that this bank is another venue to scam people's money with ease, scheming behind subtle policies and the sloth-running-system... will I get refunded? tsk... with the time wasted, the energy, and emotional damages they caused, and the advice receive from the customer service saying: you have to wait approximately within 35 banking days for the result - with no assurance that your problem would actually be fixed in the end, and so you have to LABOR again starting to square one - YOU JUST HAVE TO GIVE UP and sign with regret: you should never have trusted the bank the first time. Amen.

Metrobank Debit Card and gamit ko, OFW. Noong huling nag check ako ng account ko tru metrobank direct eh may 300 php plus pa. Bakiit po ngayon, yung total balance na sinasabi dun 900.00(-)? Anu pong ibigsabihin nun? Tapos may service charge na 300? Nakalagay sa taas na list, kapag OFW eh N.A ang service fee.
