First National Conference for Library Management in the Philippine Setting: Principles and Best Practices

The Naga College Foundation Learning Resource Center will conduct the First National Conference for Librarians entitled "Library Management in the Philippine Setting: Principles and Best Practices” on August 16-17, 2012 at the Villa Caceres Hotel, Naga City.
The Conference aims to:
  1. provide a venue for librarian-participants to discuss current and best practices in providing services with the aid of information technology;
  2. enable them to know and share thoughts and ideas on the importance of professional organizations relevant to effective library management; and
  3. acquaint them with the current rules and principles in organizing information resources which would lead to effective library management and services.
The target participants to this activity are the officials, employees and students from private higher education institutions (HEIs), and officials and employees of state universities and colleges (SUCs) and local universities and colleges (LUCs).
