The said Puregold company presentation for the Joint Analysts’ Briefing and Global Investor Call headlined the following:
- Consolidated sales for 1st half of 2012 rose by 34% to Php23.275 billion against Php17.315 billion for the same period in 2011
- Consolidated net income after tax increased by 32% to Php1.033 billion, compared to Php0.783 billion for the same six-month period in 2011
- PGOLD now operating 134 stores in its portfolio. From the company’s base store count of 100 Puregold stores at the end of CY 2011
- Revised guidance for CY 2012, as follows:
- Consolidated net sales targeted to grow by 50% from PhP39 billion in CY 2011
- 31 new Puregold stores for CY 2012, from the original guidance of 25 new Puregold stores
