Aboitiz Power Corporation, (AboitizPower) was informed by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Therma South, Inc. (TSI), that it entered into construction, supply and coordination contracts with local and foreign contractors for the construction of TSI’s 300-MW circulating fluidized-bed coal-fired power generation facility located in Barangay Binugao, Toril District, Davao City and Barangay Inayawan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines (the "Davao Coal Project”).
The aggregate value of the construction, supply and coordination contracts for the Davao Coal Project is around US$546 Million. As previously disclosed, the Davao Coal Project was approved by the Davao City Council and was granted an Environmental Compliance Certificate by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources through the Environmental Management Bureau. - https://www.affordablecebu.com/
