chukie, they share some of their blessings to the poor through the Corporate Social Responsibility programs of the companies they've established. SM at the helm of Henry Sy offers scholarship programs to poor students who are deserving to study. Same as the Gokongwei company Universal Robina, they have foundations that offer scholarships and great employment opportunities.

Most of them have foundations and charities.

They cannot just give money or things to the people because they think it makes people lazier. That's why rich people (those who control the Philippine economy) focused on developing the Philippines through education and attitude.
