To Mr Ivan Henry Gaw -re medacase/C9CVMJ -Due to life threatening diving accident which required my wife to be transported from Dumagete to the Hyperbaric chamber at the military hospital in Cebu in the middle of the night (5 hour trip), we were not able connect with our Cebu Pacific flight on April 8. We contacted Cebu Pacific well before the flight to cancel it. They told us what we thought was all the information that was required to support our claim for a refund of the portion of our flight from Dumagette to Manila. After 3 days of treatment, we were given various forms by the Hyberbaric Chamber personel which CONTAINED EVERYTHING that Cebu Pacific needed to support our claim. This was all forwarded to Cebu Pacific. Now that we are 10,000 miles away (northern Canada) from the Philippines, we are told by Cebu Pacific "service" ? desk that the information is not on the right form (a medical certificate) and therefore is invalid. The personnel (including the supervisor, Mitch Magtibay) handling these medacases have no basic medical education to even partially understand the issues being considered. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! With all the nurses that exist in the Philippines, there is no excuse not to have at least one as a supervisor. The present personnel assume that since the information is not exactly in the format that they demand, then it doesn't exist, and thus you have no valid reason for getting a refund. I do not understand how a company can continue to do business with such blind bureaucratic procedures. It will certainly never succeed on the international market by treating its customers like this. I will be more than happy to relay my feelings about Cebu Pacific to the many Philippine workers here in Canada, who are my good friends.

have booked a ticket with a confirmation number 0112-1300-2530-82 bound for hongkong-Cebu and Cebu-Hongkong on January 18, 2014 and February 16, 2014 last November 30, 2013. I asked my sister to pay it at BDO but it was holiday so she was not able to do it on that day. she went back today December 1,2013 but the bank did not accept her payment since they thought it has expired. I tried booking a new one this day but it says I have a duplicate booking, knowing that a booking expires exactly 11:59 in the evening as stated in your policy, my question is why you were not able to cancel my first booking since, it has exceeded the time frame? My problem now is I can't book a new one it always pops up i have a duplicate bookings...I tried contacting the numbers at your office in Cebu but nobody answers. So now how can i solve this one? complain on poor customer service, have called SIN customer hotline, because my booking has been cancelled automatically because of bank problem, upon calling the bank, authorization to proceed was given to Cebu pacific, they also don’t know why Cebu pacific cancelled my booking. To ask for further details on my cancelled booking i call sin hotline this afternoon,16.08.13, bet 12-12.30 pm, so disappointed on how the customer service handle my inquiries, her name is SAM. I’m still explaining and telling her on what happen, but she keeps on saying, we cannot do anything already, you cannot retrieve the booking, it’s a bank problem, just call them then book your ticket again, if your money was hold by the bank, wait until they will give it back to your account, because Cebu pacific cancelled it already, saying those words as if it was nothing, no sympathy and care, just forget and back to the usual process, totally disappoints me. While I was explaining again, she interrupt me, I say can you just listen to me first, as I have spoken with bank customer service already, they say authorization was given to Cebu pacific on the night of booking , she reply, I’m the one who cannot say anything already, because you keep on talking. I said on a firm voice, just listen first, she keep quiet, and let me talk, and I never heard any sound after, as if I’m talking to air, it’s very rude, if you really care to your customer you can response without interrupting, you can at least say that you do understand, but I never received such as answers. After I finish talking, don’t know if you really listen, you can still ask me, in a very sarcastic voice, CAN I TALK NOW? SAM, of Cebu pacific, I never tell you not to talk, what I am saying is to listen to me first, what an impolite question from you, with a sarcastic voice some more, of course you can talk because you were hired to give good customer service, but you failed on that, you must go proper training on how to handle customers. Don’t just say no, you cannot help, nothing to do but to do booking again, call the bank, as if i never exert any effort at all. Im so unhappy on the outcome of my booking, and talking to customer service officer like SAM, who doesn’t care at all makes me angry some more. If you cannot help on retrieving the booking, just help on consoling your costumer SAM, don’t give them an answer or an impression that, things happen so be it, your unlucky, we cannot do much attitude. I do exert effort in calling Cebu pacific and the bank to know exactly what happen; hope to get the same effort on Cebu pacific side. But SAM really failed on that. Until next week bank will hold my money, waiting for Cebu pacific to collect, but definitely it will not happen, as booking was cancelled. As for SAM, a customer service heart was not on you, so sad that you belong to Cebu pacific. Hope to receive an action on this Cebu pacific team.
