This service is to tax every inhabitant 18 years old and above, as well as every partnership, corporation, association. (This is applicable only in Cebu, Philippines.) What is community tax certificate? A community tax certificate or commonly known as cedula is given to those who have paid their community taxes. The community tax shall accrue on the first day of January each year, which shall be paid not later than the last day of February each year.
Note the amount to pay for the CEDULA: 5 pesos for the basic community tax, 25 pesos for salaries or gross receipts or earnings derived from exercise of profession or pursuit of any occupation, and 4.20 pesos for interest. With a total payment of 34.20 pesos (as of 2011).
