I opened my BDO account in Libertad, Mandaluyong. I'm currently in my hometown which is Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. I used my debit card here but then I got a message from your company that it was blocked. Why is this so? Are you saying that I couldn't use my debit card in other areas? This is so disappointing!

Hi good morning. I open a savings account at BDO Mandaluyong Libertad branch. I got my ATM card last February 6, 2013. The teller gave me the instruction on how to activate my atm card. However, I tried many times to activate my ATM card, and after going through the steps, the result is always "unable to process this transaction". Why? Is there a problem with my atm card or is it the atm machine that causes the problem? But I tried activating it on different BDO atm machine and at different location. How come, it resulted to the same answer "unable to process this transaction". Kindly advise what to do. Thanks.

Michelle Young, go to the BDO branch where you applied for an ATM account and let them do the activation. Be prepared to bring valid id's.
