The International Federation of Social Science Organizations (IFSSO)will hold its 20th General Conference with the theme, Social Science Perspectives on Human Security on November 18-20, 2011 at the Freedom Hall of the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Batangas City.
The theme of this year's conference is relevant to the social science
disciplines as it focuses on issues ranging from natural and man-made
disasters, food security, community security, ageing and health and
tensions between traditionalism and modernity. These topics can enhance
the knowledge and skills of faculty members who are assigned to teach
social science subjects.
The teachers of Social Studies from both public and private elementary
and secondary schools are invited to attend this activity.
The registration fee, which covers conference kit including the book of
abstracts, lunch (3), snacks (6), and a certificate of participation, is as
