The competition aims to:
- give the young generation an avenue to become actively involved in the upcoming 2013 National Elections;
- develop their abilities to express fluently their views in English, as well as to develop critical thinking; and
- inspire them to inform, motivate, and influence others through the art of public speaking.
The target participants to this activity are the bonafide fourth year high school Filipino students from both public and private schools between 15 and 18 years old by October 1, 2012.
