The Ateneo Center for English Language Teaching (ACELT) will hold its 48th Bi-Annual Conference with the theme "English Asia: Teaching a Global Language in Local Contexts” on September 1, 2012 at the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), Katipunan Avenue, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
The conference aims to provide the participants with a venue for the discussion of the place of Philippine English in World Englishes and its implications on their own educational concerns, especially in light of the implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Program.
The target participants to this activity are educators, administrators, trainers, researchers, students, and scholars.
