The Naval State University, a premier State University of the Province
of Biliran will spearhead an International Conference-Symposium on
Research and Development Trends for Global Competitiveness on July
12-16, 2011 at the Naval State University, Main Campus, Naval, Biliran
Province.
The International Conference-Symposium aims to boost the research skills and capabilities of researchers and other interested individuals from academic institutions and industries. Specifically, the participants are expected to: - gain insights on the significant trends on research and development evident in highly industrialized economies;
- acquire the skills and techniques associated with research and development;
- learn significant findings from completed research projects and studies which can further enhance their stock of knowledge as best sources for literature of future studies; and
- present completed research outputs for evaluation and critiquing and eventually qualify for refereed journal publication at the Journal for Society and Technology.
A registration fee of Seven Thousand Pesos (PhP7,000.00) will be charged to each live-in participant to cover the expenses for accommodation, t-shirt, snacks (9), breakfast (4), dinner (4), lunch (4), compact disk with lectures, seminar bag and souvenir program and Five Thousand Pesos (PhP5,000.00) to each live-out participant. Participants with qualified research paper for peer-review and refereed journal publication at the Journal for Society and Technology will be charged a peer-review fee of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP2,500.00) per article and a publication fee of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP1,500.00) per article.
