Leadership Training Program in Japan

The Philippine National Committee for the IATSS Forum is now accepting applications for the 51st and 52nd IATSS Forum on the Leadership Training Program in Japan which will be conducted from May to July 2014 and from September to November 2014 respectively in Suzuka, Japan.
The Forum aims to provide the participants from ASEAN countries with a broader perspective and understanding of the role of science, technology and culture of Japan and the developments in ASEAN countries.

The program is open to all Filipinos both men and women who are not more than 35 years of age at the time of application and have at least two years professional experience. They may come from either executive or administrative branch of government and are involved in policy formulation and planning work, or from the academic and private sectors. Applicants from any field of specialization are welcome.

The Philippines has been allotted two slots for the 51st IATSS Forum and two slots for the 52nd IATSS Forum. The IATSS will provide the successful candidates with free roundtrip air tickets and living expenses.

The deadline for submission of nomination together with the required application and supporting documents is on June 10, 2013.
