Manila International Book Fair 2012

The Primetrade Asia, Inc., in partnership with the Book Development Association of the Philippines (BDAP), Philippine Booksellers Association, Inc. (PBAI), Overseas Publishers Representatives' Association of the Philippines (OPRAP) and the Asian Catholic Communicators, Inc. (ACCI) will hold the 33rd Manila International Book Fair on September 12-16, 2012 at the Exhibit Hall of SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia (MOA) Complex, Pasay City.
The Book Fair aims to:
  1. promote good reading habits, especially among the youth;
  2. create opportunities for people to avail of books and learning tools for the development, upgrading and institutionalizing skills of the book industry and its industries;
  3. upgrade learning and teaching levels;
  4. provide a venue where an exchange of ideas can take place among the publishers, booksellers, librarians, academicians, writers, printers, manufacturers and distributors of educational aids and all those connected with book development, publishing, printing, computer distributors/retailers, school and office supplies, computers and learning institutes and related trade from within and outside the Philippines; and
  5. encourage authorship and improve the literacy and creative content of book published.
The school librarians, teachers and students are invited to attend this activity.
School activities and classroom discussions in relevant subjects may be designed to develop book consciousness and orientation towards the new and appropriate educational technologies.
