The Conference provides an avenue for the chiefs and assistant chiefs to:
- be updated on the implementation of the K to 12 Curriculum;
- share best practices of selected secondary schools with a variety of teaching and learning innovations; and
- address issues and concerns of the assocation.
The participants to this Conference are the Curriculum and Instruction Units chiefs, Secondary Education Division (SED) chiefs and assistant chiefs of the sixteen (16) DepEd regions, BSE Director and Officer-in-Charge (OIC), Office of the Assistant Director, the Director and Assistant Director of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), the OICs of the Staff Development Division (SDD) and the Curriculum Development Division (CDD), and one (1) Education Program Specialist of BSE. Attendance to this conference is on official business.
The List of Participants is contained in Enclosure No. 1 and the Matrix of Activities is in Enclosure No. 2.
A registration fee of Five Thousand Pesos (PhP5,000.00) shall be charged to each participant to cover the cost of board and lodging. Other incidental expenses shall be charged to office/local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
An advisory for each conference shall be issued prior to the scheduled dates. This will include reports for submission and presentation, the estimated time of arrival/departure, first and last meals and other reminders for the participants.
