The Pi Lambda Theta Philippines Area Chapter will hold its National
Conference with the theme " K to 12 Curriculum and Tertiary General
Education: Course Content and Transition Issues” on May 10-12, 2012 at
the Mendel Hall, Trinity University of Asia, E. Rodriguez Avenue, Quezon
City.
The Conference aims to: - update participants on the status of the K to 12 Curriculum and the Tertiary General Education Program;
- present sample course syllabi for Grades 11 and 12 and selected tertiary general education courses;
- discuss K to 12 transition management issues; and
- formulate resolutions for the Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) actions.
The target participants to this activity are administrators, school principals, deans, directors, department heads, curriculum specialists, and teachers. Each participant shall be charged a registration fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP3,500.00) to cover expenses for conference materials/kit, snacks, lunch and Certificate of Participation.
