Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1761, the
National Hypertension Awareness Month will be celebrated every month of May of each year. For this year, the Philippine Society of Hypertension (PSH), Inc. will celebrate the 3rd National Hypertension Awareness Month with kick-off activities on May 19, 2012, Saturday (7:30 a.m.-12:00 nn) at the Bonifacio Shrine and Universidad ng Manila beside Manila City Hall, Manila.
This Celebration aims to support the promotion of national awareness on hypertension prevention, diagnosis, and treatment through collaboration, harmonization, networking and linkages of concerned organizations.
Activities will be undertaken in partnership with various medical societies/organizations, allied health professionals/organizations, government organizations (GOs), non-government organizations (NGOs), various lay groups, media, among others.
