The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation ( PhilHealth) will be shifting to full electronic claims soon. In preparation, it is inviting proponents of open source electronic medical records to participate in the creation of a reference implementation of PhilHealth's electronic claims system. The reference implementation will serve as a guide to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, developers, implementers and academe on how to integrate PhilHealth e-claims standards into their own systems.
Interested participants should meet the following qualifications: - Public institutions or private institutions duly-registered with SEC
- At least five (5) years experience with open source electronic medical records
- With installations of the EMR in at least three facilities
- Source code is provided to the facilities
- Source code is available in online repositories such as github and/or sourceforge under any of the licenses listed at www.opensource.org
Qualified participants will be called to an organizational meeting on the second week of February. Please submit the following details: - Name of Organization
