The Seminar-Workshop aims to:
- upgrade the campus paper advisers and campus journalists writing skills both in English and Filipino and promote social awareness;
- determine the common concerns of campus paper advisers and writers;
- write articles and/or instructional materials that showcase what has been learned from the seminar-workshop; and
- instill the importance of responsible campus journalism and promote camaraderie among participants through group activities, forums and the like.
The target participants to this activity are elementary pupils, secondary and college students from both public and private schools in the National Capital Region (NCR) and CALABARZON.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
