Tropical Storm or "Bagyong" Quinta has intensified further as it continues to move towards Eastern Visayas according to the Philippines' weather state bureau PAGASA.
At 4:00pm today, the center of Bagyong Quinta was estimated at 90km Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. It has a maximum sustained winds of 75kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90kph. It moves West at 24kph.
It is expected to at 50km East of Cuyo Island tomorrow afternoon and at 320km West Northwest of Puerto Princesa City by Thursday afternoon. By Friday afternoon, it is expected to be at 870km West Northwest of Puerto Princesa City or outside the area of responsibility.
