Fire hits major stores in the downtown proper Poblacion 2, Oroquieta City on Tuesday night. The fire started approximately at 9pm. It burned down some of commercial stores which include SBU Construction Supply, Siote Store, Zsa- zsa Beauty Parlor, Getz Me, Uni.com, Happy Homes, Generics Pharmacy, and Pacifica Agrivet Supply. No one has been reported hurt or dead.
Firetrucks responded immediately after the incident has been reported.
Reports said that an unattended cellphone charger plugged in the power outlet inside Happy Homes store has been the cause of the fire. Others said that some electrical wirings sparked after the brownout had caused the fire.
Worth of the damages has not yet been confirmed.
