Popularly known to be the World's Largest Dome Arena, Philippine Arena is owned by the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) religious organization. The Hanwha Engineering and Construction Corp., which is the contractor of the said project has already been working this month (August 2011) to build this world's largest dome arena in Bulacan, Philippines.
The contractor of the project, Hanwha Engineering and Construction Corp. (Hanwa E&C) is a development and construction company based in South Korea. Its vice Chairman Kim Hyun-chung shake hands with the INC Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo after the groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday.

According to the Korea Herald, Philippine Arena is estimated to be worth $175 million contract which was signed on August 4, 2011. It has a seating capacity of 50,000 (seats), floor area of 74,000 square meters and its domed roof is nearly 36,000 square meters which makes it the "World's Largest Dome Arena".
Hanwha E&C will work for the said project for over 30 months and will be completed by 2014. The company said that the project will be conducted in design-build process in which the
contractor is responsible for all related processes from designing to
building the facility.
"The Philippine Arena is three times bigger than the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium, Korea's largest indoor Arena", said a Hanwha E&C official.
INC said that the Philippine Arena will be built for the Centennial Project during the 100th Founding Anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in July 27, 2014.

The Philippine Arena would be a great place to house the most prestigious event of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) which is the Centennial (100th Anniversary) celebration by year 2014. It could be also a most spacious place to host a grandeur Grand Evangelical Mission (GEM) or it might be the next Olympic Games Arena.

Hi Joel, I had been traveling I was somewhere else a few days ago and now still traveling out of my country. Please do travel the world too and learn from many cultures and traditions that is my suggestion you will be amazed at how beautiful the world is and the people around even if you see them bowing down to idols. That's what they have chosen as their way and from the judgement of their hearts... I too have learned that your ancient people believe a different "creation story" and it is entirely and completely not the same as what you believe now. It is a beautiful story on how man and woman appeared in your place but it is sad that you have forgotten it and accept something foreign which you can not even understand the hebrew and greek languages and more. There are plenty of "creation stories" and i am sure you have no idea about it so please travel the world if you can it will help open your mind.

Sa mga nang uusig sa INC: idaan na lang natin sa formal debate, kahit yung bagong graduate na ministro namin, itataob yang mga pastor niyo.. ang pamamahala kasi sa INC, hindi binobroadcast yung mga outreach programs na ginagawa, hindi namin kailangang ipublicize...yan ang dapat tularan ng gobyerno natin at ng ibang pangkating panrelihiyon, yung iba kasi, more talk, less work...puro papogi lang ang alam hahaha.. diyan nahahayag ang paglingap ng Diyos sa INC. I do not belong to any sect and I do not propagate...to show a little light is pure love while propagation is control that the leader can render weak the mind and soul of the masses. When you get into the matrix it is difficult because they now think for you and you will not notice and feel it that you cant move by your own will so when you become impaired in that central nervous system which is your own mind they have you as their property and the magic starts..everything you see and hear from them is sweet and beautiful that is the secret of control! You said it is sure that Jesus the Christ will not appear before you as he is to come on judgement day. You do not know when he is to come so it is still possible that he will come now or tomorrow. As to the Lord's return, the Bible speaks no specific country, what the Bible says, when the Son of Man returns, He will be seen in all His glory with tens of thousands of angels with Him. He will come with a shining light and His return will be marked by a very loud noise. We are not worried about the specific country where he will be seen, the Bible says, He will be seen (from the earth), that's it, He will be seen. Besides, His disciples, the parts or members of His body or the Church will know when the time comes. We are just waiting for one thing, the blowing of the last trumphet that will Herald the Lord's return. As I have mentioned many times, we are at peace with our faith. @Joel thanks for taking time with me but i dont know why it didnt occur to you the fact that you can still meausure the time interval between world war 1 and world war 2 at any given amount in a ratio like 1=10,000 or 1=100? I do understand that you are not going to question the 1=1000 years you rather not have to question it because it is the TRUTH that your God's 1 day is equal to 1000 earth years. What you must do instead is to acknowledge it and dont deny what is written? The problem sometimes with people is that when they are caught unaware in certain things they tend to find other explanations for it so as not to disturb the status quo even in the face of a compelling evidence. You have the wisdom that it is not possible for God to become 1+1+1=1 as what you can point out in the trinity i too dont buy that God is a trinity but you can not shake my knowledge of your God confine to this equation of 1=1000. Maybe you can ask the higher ups in the structure of your leaders about this too. If you are doing your duty of warning people why cant I do the same? that i too might be able to show a little light to term it in a way? But i know you will not agree with me because you believe that you are in the light and i am in the dark that it is your duty as a member to become the light of the world...the light of salvation am i correct?
One thing more whether i speak of science or math, material and spiritual as long as it is a fact i think there is no harm in that. Did the bible speak about electricity and magnetism and computers? NO! but we have it now and we believe it is happening, no one can argue that only because it is not written in the bible therefore it is not true.
Why dont you look for contradictions,mistakes and errors in the bible yourself? because it is not having a single one? because it is perfect? Hello my friend, Avishai, I think that you were not able to get my point here. The interval between the 1st and 2nd world was was prophesied, there is a marker in time. It is very clear to INC members how the ends of the earth was marked by the Bible. I am also not denying what is written about the 1=1000, it is written, so I do accept it. Many things were not written in the Bible, yet, the Bible speaks what is written is sufficient for man to attain salvation. You are right, we are doing our duty of giving warning to people and you can also do that if you believe that you have another knowledge or "enlightenment" to share. We have freedom of speech, the only thing is that, in the end, God will implement His judgment. The INC was able to identify the "discrepancies" in the Bible because God has guided His messenger. The original manuscripts were lost that's why the translations rendered by different people were based on "copies of the original" (I'm sorry, I forgot the term for that "copies"). Nevertheless, the Messenger of God was guided by the Holy Spirit and to the INC, the Bible does not contradict itself. Just like you who has a "knowledge" to propagate, we too are propagating the Good News of salvation as prophesied. We both are enjoying the freedom in this country to say and propagate what we want, it is up to the recipients of the message which one to accept. We cannot impose to anyone, it is up to them if they want to accept what they have heard. I told you, my friend, we are at peace with our faith not only because we believe it, but this faith is working for us...we can feel it...we are seeing its effect in our lives.. The INC is NOT an ENEMY. We are very friendly people. As an organization, we are very responsive to the needs not only of our brethren but to our countrymen and to all humanity in general. That is why we are always there in times of need. Having concern with our fellowman is a part of our daily activities. In fact, the INC has a SOCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT which is mandated to look after our countrymen who needs help and assistance during times of calamity and other disasters. Though these things are temporal, we give much emphasis on the spiritual needs of man. Salvation... even if you can't or you don't accept what we preach, we still are your friends. Sometimes, some of my brothers were very defensive in their stance, it was maybe because they were so tired of hearing the negative insights of people towards us. We still remember the days when the INC were physically harassed by non-INC members... throwing stones and rocks in our gatherings. We don't have magnificent chapels then...we were preaching the pristine words of God under makeshift tents. There was a time when you will get fired from your job because you were a member of the INC. All sorts of persecution were encountered by the INC but we endured everything. Now, the prophecy was fulfilled, God's promise that He will strengthen His messenger and his mission, behold, the INC stood up in spite of all man's effort to crush her. As one writer says: "...from ridicule to reverence." My friend, I WILL DISCUSS NO MORE OUR DOCTRINAL STANCE in this blog as I have already shared them with you. But, please, keep in mind that you will always be a FRIEND and a BROTHER to me and to all of us, INC members. From now on, I will DEDICATE my time on this blog to JUBILATION and REJOICING because they are the real essence of this blog, to be HAPPY about the SUCCESS of the IGLESIA NI CRISTO onwards to the CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION. Still, Avishai stood still against the Iglesia Ni Cristo. Even though I'm a protestant, Avishai's arguments is more thought-provoking than the INC. There are a lot of things that INC should consider. INC shouldn't just limit their belief in the Bible. I'm very proud with Avishai! INC shouldn't judge all people who are non-INC that we will be condemned in hell. INC shouldn't be proud of themselves that they are the only ones who will be saved. The truth remains, we cannot fathom the mind of God. All creatures are created with purpose. The scripture also tells that even if you are with Christ and knows His teachings but your mind is full of boastfulness, pride, jealousy or lust, you are not still worthy to inherit the kingdom of God.
As for me, we really have not set the topic to discuss. Besides, neither Borne nor I were the official representative of the INC. I am sorry to say but we can't go beyond what is written in the Bible. Again, we are not condemning people that they will go to hell. According to Apostle Paul, it is God who will judge those who are outside the church. We will not reach a point of agreement if we are not standing in the same ground. For instance, the work of salvation in the Christian Era was already described in the Bible. If we will be discussing it with a person who does not believe in the Bible, there will be no point of agreement. What matters most in this case is that the prophecies are being fulfilled in the IGLESIA NI CRISTO, exactly as expressed in the Bible. This blog speaks about our jubilation about this big construction project for the Centennial. We are not boasting about it. In fact, the Church administration themselves have attributed this success as God's handiwork. I believe that we have reasons to rejoice. Then suddenly, anti-INC comments would come in just to ridicule us. Nevertheless, it does not affect me and lots of us. The success of the INC is always attributed to God and in fact, we are always praising Him for fulfilling His promises to His messenger up to the present administration. In the beginning, people from all sides of the society were always attacking us...throwing literal stones and rocks in INC gatherings but in spite of God, the work of salvation was never hindered. If Born, was so defensive in his utterance, I cannot speak for him. But I stand zealous that no matter what the people say, the INC will remain triumphant and successful and will fulfill the prophecy that it is indeed the Church that will be GLORIOUS & RADIANT as God has promised. The governments and economies of the world are crumbling and yet, the INC continues to build not only this arena but it builds great edifices for the glory of God. It continues to gain adherents by the hundreds of thousands as the the Lord God said: "Ako ang gagawa at sino ang pipigil?" People will try to stop this mission of salvation but their efforts will be in vain. Since the beginning, God has always been the refuge of the INC. Two world wars, the Huks, and different kind of physical harassments were encountered by the brethren but still, we are standing gallantly and successfully. Why we are able to do these things? It was God's specific promise to his people in the Far East in the ends of the Earth and in the Isles of the Sea - "Fear not, for I am with thee...from the Far East, to the Far West...."
