Capacity-Building Training on Human Rights

The Commission on Human Rights (CHR), in partnership with the Philippine Center for Islam and Democracy, will implement the project entitled "Empowering the Aleemat, Muslim Women Leaders, and their Communities as Human Rights Defenders." In this connection, the Capacity-Building Training on Human Rights will be held on the following dates and venues:

The activity aims to equip the participants with knowledge on the human rights framework and to enhance their skills in educating their communities on human rights monitoring and reporting.

The participants are selected Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) teachers from Zamboanga, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Basilan, Maguindanao, Cotabato City, Davao City, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte.

The expenses of participants will be charged to the Philippine Center for Islamic Democracy (PCID).
