DEAP will hold its 26th Annual Dance Educators Convention-Workshop

The Dance Education Association of the Philippines (DEAP), Inc. will hold its 26th Annual Dance Educators Convention-Workshop with the theme, "Dance Preservation and Dissemination: A Continuing Challenge to Dance Leadership in Education" on May 10-13, 2011. The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) is the host institution of this activity. This Convention aims to put up a forum for the delegates/participants to discuss and share the ideas on how dance as a cultural heritage can help in raising the quality of education and as a life-long learning for the enrichment of Filipino culture, and to provide the participants with learning and teaching experiences of folk and ethnic dances.

The participants to this activity are supervisors, administrators, teachers of the elementary, secondary and tertiary levels, dance instructors, dance directors and dance enthusiasts from related disciplines.

A registration fee of Two Thousand Pesos (PhP2,000.00) will be charged to each delegate/participant to cover the honoraria for resource speakers and dance instructors, hand-outs, CDs, certificates and other expenses relative to the holding of the convention-workshop.
