The Program aims to:
- honor great Filipinos and significant events in the evolution of the Filipino nation;
- enhance the appreciation of greatness in the people and give new meaning to old places by re-contextualizing them in the life or event of an icon; and
- inculcate in the youth the patriotism, nationalism, and encourage their involvement in public and civic affairs;
The program is open to all Filipino youths aged 15 to 30 years old (Republic Act (R.A.) No. 8044 Section 2 – Policy residing in the Philippines.)
The deadline for submission of entries is on October 31, 2012.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.”
