The Plan Philippines will conduct a study on the Utilization of the School Improvement Plan (SIP) in School Governance. The purpose is to find out how the schools have utilized SIP in school governance during the last three (3) school years, from SY 2007-2008 to SY 2009-2010. The coverage of the study will be eleven (11) of the Plan Philippines sponsored elementary schools in four (4) of its partner school divisions: namely Eastern Samar, Masbate, Occidental Mindoro, and Southern Leyte.

The data gathering will be conducted from April to May 2011. Local Plan staff will be coordinating with the DepEd starting March with regard to this project to plan the actual schedule of interviews and the logistics requirements. Plan Philippines will be in charge of the expenses related to this project.
