The University of the Philippines Information Technology Training Center
(UP ITTC) will hold the Philippine Youth for Information Technology
Congress (Y4IT) on September 13-16, 2011 simultaneously at three
locations: the UP Theatre, UP Film Institute for the Main Event and Bay
ng Alumni for Y4IT Sponsors Exhibit in UP Diliman, Quezon City.
This event is organized by the UP ITTC in coordination with the Department of Computer Science (DCS), UP System IT Foundation (UP SITF), and the Y4IT Student Volunteer Corps in cooperation with the Philippine Society of IT Educators (PSI'IE), Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP), and the Philippine Computer Society (PCS). This congress as to introduce current ICT trends, provide knowledge sources for the youth and open learning and career opportunities in ICT. The participants to this congress are college students, professionals, and enthusiasts in IT from all over the country. A registration fee of Six Hundred Pesos (PhP600.00) will be charged to each on-site registrant and Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00) to each early registrant. The fee covers morning and afternoon snacks, congress kit, freebies and daily raffle tickets.
