The Private School Administrators Association of the Philippines
(PRISAAP) will conduct the 2010 Secondary Education Curriculum (SEC)
In-Service Training (INSET) for Teachers of Music, Arts, Physical
Education and Health (MAPEH), Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE),
and Edukasyon sa Pagpapahalaga (EP) in the following clusters, dates
and venues:

The training aims to: - enhance the teachers' understanding of their subject area' s contents,
through the Understanding by Design (UbD) as a curriculum framework, as an instructional planning process, and as a way of thinking; and - equip them with the skills in planning a lesson that demonstrates assessment tools that measure acquisition of information (knowledge), meaning-making (knowledge/skills), and transfer of learning.
The participants are secondary school teachers of MAPEH, TLE, and EP from both public and private high schools. A registration fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP3,500.00)
will be charged to each participant to defray expenses such as
accommodation, meals, snacks, speakers' honoraria, kits, and other
