2012 National Teachers' Training Workshop of the Western Visayas College of Science and Technology (WVCST)

The Western Visayas College of Science and Technology (WVCST) together with the Association of Science and Mathematics Coaches of the Philippines (ASMaC Philippines) will conduct the 2012 National Teachers’ Training with the following topics on April 16- 19 and April 23-26, 2012 at the WVCST, La Paz, Iloilo City:

1. Multimedia Presentation
2. Photoshop for Teachers;
3. School Website Development;
4. Computer Repair and Maintenance;
5. Computer Programming for High School Teachers;
6. ComputerNetworking and Trouble Shooting;
7. Action Research in 32 Hours;
8. Technology and Livelihood Training for Community Development.
   

This activity aims to:

1. enhance the capability of the teacher-participants in integrating ICT teaching and learning;
2. provide them with knowledge and skills on each specific training workshop area;
3. maintain and maximize the use of the ICT infrastracture of the school; and
4. equip these teachers on how to do action research and livelihood skill for students, and community development.
   

The participants to this training-workshop are the elementary and high school teachers and administrators. The training is limited to twenty five (25) participants per workshop to give equal opportunity to all participants.

A registration fee of Four Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Pesos (PhP4,950.00) will be charged to each participant for a particular training workshop. This fee will cover expenses for the accomodation, meals, a.m. and p.m. snacks, training materials, honoraria of the training team, cost of electricity, kit and other incidental expenses.
