- necessary skills on the elements of style and technical knowledge on Collaborative Publishing and Design;
- needed updates re changes on all contest guidelines, both in group and in individual categories; and
- an active sharing of ideas on issues and concerns to improve the conduct of schools press conferences in different levels.
The participants to this activity are invited speakers, newly-elected PAESPA executive officers, current presidents of the RAESPA, ex-officio executive officers and board of directors who are listed in the enclosure. Each participant is required to bring his/her own laptop and flash drive (USB).
Each participant shall be charged a registration fee of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP1,500.00) to defray expenses for board and lodging. Registration fees and transportation expenses from the participant's point of origin to the venue and back shall be charged to local journalism funds, division or regional association funds or other special education/school board funds, whichever is available, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. Other incidental expenses shall be charged to PAESPA Funds.
School heads (SHs)/Administrators are encouraged to provide financial assistance to the officers who will join this activity. Participants are expected to transfer (echo) what they have learned to their fellow school paper advisers when they go back to their respective divisions and regions.
