Summer Class on Digital Literacy for Educators (with only 50 free slots to be availed upon contacting the organizer)
May 22-23, 2013
PNU-Vibal Center for Digital 2nd Floor, Pedro Orata Hall PNU, Taft Avenue, Manila
The Conference and Summer Class aim to:
train in-service teachers in basic education on the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in the teaching-learning process;
equip them with the appropriate pedagogies to select and integrate ICT in the curriculum to improve student-learning outcomes;
enable them to design and develop content-related materials where ICT-integration may be applied to include ICT-enhanced assessment plans across disciplines;
familiarize them with the different digital and mobile technologies attuned with today’s skills and competencies of the learners; and
train them on the use and integration of tablet and interactive whiteboard technologies in the teaching and learning process.
The target participants to these activities are school administrators, directors and principals, subject and ICT coordinators from both public and private schools nationwide.
