The Seminar aims to:
- update and upgrade the knowledge and skills of EEP graduates;
- organize EEP graduates into a core group that will be the backbone of a nationwide economics educators association assisting DepEd in ensuring continuous and sustainable efforts towards quality economics education, researches in the field of economics education, providing relevant and updated educational materials; and
- assist DepEd in fleshing out the curriculum for the economics and economics related courses in the K to 12 Curriculum.
The target participants to this activity are EEP graduates batches 2000 and 2002 under the DepEd Scholarship Program.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.”
