4th National Biotechnology Education Conference for Teachers (NBECT) & the 2nd National Biotechnology Quiz Contest for High School

The Philippine Academy of Microbiology College, Laguna will hold its 4th National Biotechnology Education Conference for Teachers (NBECT) and the 2nd National Biotechnology Quiz Contest for High School on November 22, 2012 at the University of the Philippines (UP), Diliman, Quezon City.
The Activity aims to:
  1. provide a venue for teachers in Biotechnology and related subjects to interact and learn new things relevant to teaching Biotechnology;
  2. get updates on issues and concerns in modern Biotechnology; and
  3. reaffirm their commitment to promote popular awareness of science-based information about biotechnology all over the country.
The target participants to this activity are secondary students and teachers who are interested in Science from both public and private schools.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.”
