58th National Conference of Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs of Elementary Education

The Bureau of Elementary Education-Department of Education (BEE-DepEd) (BEE), in cooperation with the National Association of Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs of Elementary Education (NACACEE) will hold the 58th National Conference with the theme: K to 12 in a Wider Perspective on November 12-16, 2012 at the Smallville 21 Hotel, Benigno Aquino Avenue, Mandurriao, Iloilo City with Region VI as the host region.
The Conference aims to:
  1. deepen the participants' understanding on seamless/spiral progression approach on K to 12 Curriculum;
  2. orient them on Assessment of Learning on K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum (BEC); and
  3. enhance their knowledge and understanding of elementary programs and projects.
The participants to this activity are the thirty four (34) Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs of Elementary Education Divisions (EED) and the Bureau of Elementary Education (BEE), Director IV, and selected Education Program Specialists (EPS) from BEE. Attendance to this activity is on official business.

Regions IV-B (MIMAROPA), VII and Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) are requested to present a 15-minute presentation of the highlights of their accomplishments during this session.

Each participant shall be charged a registration fee of Seven Thousand Pesos (PhP7,000.00) to cover expenses for board and lodging and conference materials. The traveling expenses and registration fee of the BEE participants shall be charged to the Bureau Project Funds while those of the field participants shall be charged to local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
