Consultative Workshop on the Proposed Policy Guidelines on Protecting Children in School

The Department of Education (DepEd), through the Office of the Undersecretary for Legal and Legislative Affairs, and the Council for the Welfare of the Children (CWC) will hold the Consultative Workshop on the Proposed Policy Guidelines on Protecting Children in School Against Abuse, Violence, Exploitation and Discrimination on November 18, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Bulwagan ng Karunungan, Rizal Building, DepEd Central Office, DepEd Complex, Meralco Avenue, Pasig City.
This Consultation Meeting aims to:
  1. provide the invited key persons, guests and stakeholders with information on how to protect the children in school against abuse, violence, exploitation and discrimination, and how to help them defend their rights in order to develop their moral character; and
  2. gather feedbacks, recommendations and inputs from them on the Proposed Policy Guidelines on Protecting Children in School Against Abuse, Violence, Exploitation and Discrimination.
