In line with the program of the Department of Education (DepEd)
pursuant to DepEd Order No. 33, s. 2011 entitled Creation of the
National Task Force on School Sites Titling (NTFSST) under the Office of
the Undersecretary for Legal and Legislative Affairs, all concerned are
directed to coordinate with the Department of Environment and Natural
Resources (DENR) under the respective regions, regarding school sites
titling activities.
Surveying and titling expenses and application/documentation for the issuance of Presidential Proclamations and/or Special Patents are covered by the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between DepEd and DENR. All concerned regional and division officials are requested to assist the school principals, school heads (SHs) and teachers-in-charge (TICs), in complying with the requirements of the DENR, such as clearances from the DPWH and DOH on the suitability of sites as schools. This Office reiterates the need for submission of the list of school sites acquired from School Year (SY) 2008-2009 to SY 2010-2011, including information on the year of acquisition, number of square meters, and copies of documents on the mode of acquisition. To obtain the CD of the NTFSST containing the data on school sites inventory, by region, schools division and school as of December 2011, for verification and updating, regional and division officials shall contact: The DepEd NTFSST
