The Philippine Society for Music Education (PSME) will hold its General Music Education Training for Early Childhood and Elementary School Music Teachers on May 14-18, 2012 at the Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School in Tagbilaran City.
The Training aims to: - develop and upgrade the musical and pedagogical knowledge, skills and competencies of the teachers;
- update them on the current instructional materials (IMs); and
- prepare them for the kindergarten and elementary levels of the Music Curriculum under the enhanced K to 12 Program.
This is a free five (5)-day Training for sixty (60) selected public and private kindergarten and elementary school teachers who are teaching Music but who have no Music degrees.
