The main objective of the conference is to help teacher-child advocates cope with the challenges of the K-3 in the new early childhood curriculum.
The topics to be discussed are the following:
- Mother Tongue-Based-Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) Enhancing Children’s Learning;
- Enhancing Curriculum Through the Use of Indigenous Materials;
- Behavior Management;
- Issues on Values; and
- Building a Community of Practice K-3.
The target participants to this activity are teachers from both public and private elementary schools nationwide.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
