The Department of Education (DepEd) through the Bureau of
Secondary Education (BSE) will conduct the National Enhancement
Training-Workshop on Entrepreneurship Education for Program Consultants
who are also the regional (ES II) and division (ES I) education
supervisors at the Ecotech Center, Lahug, Cebu City on October 10-13,
2011.
The training workshop aims to: - enhance the entrepreneurial knowledge and skills of the program specialists who are also the ES II and ES I of the Career Pathways-Technology and Livelihood Education (CP-TLE); and
- formulate strategies on how to help the teachers in realizing their goals and objectives in developing entrepreneurial skills among their students.
The participants in this activity are the seventeen (17) regional education supervisors (ES II) and the selected division education supervisors (ES I) in-charge of the CP-TLE Program. Please see enclosed allotted number of ES-I per region. The ES I shall be determined by the regional office (RO) on the basis of immersion and involvement in the CP-TLE Program of the 2010 Secondary Education Curriculum (SEC). The board and lodging of the participants, travel expenses of the BSE staff and resource person, and honorarium of the resource person, will be charged to the BSE 2010 Continuing Funds, while the transportation expenses of the participants shall be charged to local funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
