National Seminar-Workshop on the Preparation of Instructional Materials for the K to 12 Classroom

The Center for the Professional Advancement of Educators (CPAE) will conduct the National Seminar-Workshop on the Preparation of Instructional Materials for the K to 12 Classroom with the theme Optimizing Learning Through Innovative, Localized/Indigenized, Digitized, and Cost-Efficient Instructional Materials on the following dates and venues:

July 5-7, 2013	Quezon Hall, Teachers Camp, Baguio City
July 12-14, 2013	Naga Regent Hotel, Elias Angeles St., Naga City
August 23-25, 2013	Chandler Suites, F.S. Pajares St., Pagadian City

The Seminar-Workshop aims to:

1. discuss with the participants the framework and principles of materials design and preparation;
2. engage them in the design and creation of instructional materials (IMs) which can help optimize learning; and
3. challenge them to innovate, localize/indigenize, or digitize their IMs to respond to the needs of the K to 12 classroom.
   

The target participants to this activity are school heads/principals, school administrators, supervisors, heads/coordinators, teachers, and college education students.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
