The Department of Education (DepEd) through the Special Education (SPED) Division, Bureau of Elementary Education (BEE) and the LINK Center for the Deaf will hold the National Teachers Training Program on Cyber-Sign Language (SL) Signing Exact English (SEE) Network Program from April 29 to May 3, 2013 at the Marikina NEAP, RELC, Marikina City.
The training on Cyber-SL SEE Network Program includes an online tutorial, reviewer, examination, web-based SL laboratory/workbook, quiz and interactive sign language test tool bundled into one program.
The participants to this training are elementary public school teachers from the 16 regions, who have attended the the LINK Regional Teacher Trainings on Sign Language and other selected teacher-scholars of LINK Center for the Deaf in the National Capital Region (NCR). Enclosed is the List of Participants. Board and lodging and the cost of the training will be shouldered by the LINK Center for the Deaf. However, transportation expenses of the teacher-participants will be charged to local Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) or SPED downloaded funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
