Results of the 2011 Search for the Most Outstanding SPED Teachers and SPED Centers

The Department of Education (DepEd)-Bureau of Elementary Education (BEE) through the Special Education (SPED) Division, announces the results of the 2011 Search for the Most Outstanding SPED Teachers and SPED Centers. The awarding ceremony was held during the 2011 National Conference on Special Education at the Cebu Business Hotel on December 6-8, 2011. Enclosed are the following documents:
Enclosure No. 1 - List of national finalists and winners for the Outstanding SPED Teachers in the different areas of exceptionalities such as hearing impairment, visual impairment, intellectual disability, autism, learning disabilities, giftedness; and

Enclosure No. 2 - List of regional finalists and national winners for the Outstanding SPED Centers.

The Search aims to recognize the efforts of SPED teachers and SPED centers in patiently and efficiently managing the programs for children with special needs.

Prizes for the national finalists and national winners include plaques of recognition and cash prizes.

The DepEd congratulates and extends its deep appreciation to the winners and their division and regional officials for their unwavering support to this program.
