Seminar-Workshop on Children’s Play

The Gurufirm Corporation will hold the Seminar-Workshop on Children’s Play entitled What’s on your Playlist? Play as a Tool for Learning on May 6-10, 2013 at the University of the Philippines (UP) Institute of Small-Scale Industries (UP ISSI), UP Campus, Diliman, Quezon City.
The Seminar-Workshop aims to provide methods of teaching and integrating play to the class curriculum particularly to the different subject matter areas such as Mathematics, Science, Language and Literacy, Social Studies and Music and Movement.

This activity will cover topics on the importance and benefits of play in the holistic development of young children.
The target participants to this activity are the preschool teachers, parents and administrators, barangay day care workers and early childhood education practitioners from both public and private schools and other institutions.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
