Training for Peer Educators of the Fifteen (15) Model Schools Implementing the Youth Employment and Migration (YEM) Program

Based on studies that the "youth need to achieve self-actualization" and that guidance services must recognize and acknowledge this need, the Bureau of Secondary Education (BSE), in partnership with the United Nations Children Education Fund (UNICEF), will conduct the Training for Peer Educators of the Fifteen (15) Model Schools Implementing the Youth Employment and Migration (YEM) Program on January 23-27, 2012 at the venue to be announced later.
The participants to this activity are the regional and division YEM Program coordinators, Values Education supervisors, school heads of the fifteen (15) model schools, guidance counselors, Values Education teachers and selected student representatives from the model schools. The enclosed list of participants at the school level are advised to bring their School Improvement Plans (SIPs), School Report Cards (SRCs), and School Guidance Programs (SGPs), while the participants at the regional and the division levels shall bring their respective performance indicators data covering the last three (3) school years.

The board and lodging of participants, supplies and materials, traveling expenses, computer and internet rentals (in selected sessions), professional fees of resource persons and other incidental expenses relative to the conduct of this activity shall be charged to UNICEF-YEM Funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
