UP National Conference Performance

The University of the Philippines (UP) through the UP History Department of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, the College of Arts and Letters and the Asian Center will hold the National Conference Performance with the theme Bonifacio 150: Alay sa Bayan on November 21-23, 2013 at the GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center Auditorium, UP Diliman, Quezon City.

The Conference-Performance will consists of contributions which will highlight the ideas and undertakings of Bonifacio and the Katipunan through academic papers and creative presentations.

The first part will feature researches and the state of the art in the study of the hero’s life, the organization, the context and turn of events in the Revolution, and the second part will showcase the various ways of interpreting and presenting the aforementioned topics to a wider audience.

The scholars, academics, researchers, students and enthusiasts, as well as individual performing groups and teachers are invited to attend this activity.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
