The National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP) will conduct
the 4th National ICT Summit on November 4-6, 2011 at General Santos
City. The theme of the activity is " NICP: Championing Country-Wide
Digital Development.”
The objective of the activity is to engage Local Government Unit (LGU) officials to keep abreast with the ICT trends and to realize the importance of private-public partnerships and academe-industry collaboration to further boost their economy. The summit will concentrate on three areas, namely: on the assigned task of NICP under the Philippine Digital Strategy 2011-2015 (branding, ecosystem, and career advocacy), jobs and investments and sharing of best practices and to ensure that the gains of the ICT-BPO industry trickles down to the countryside.
