The vibrating screen is the much important equipment in the process of ore beneficiation.

The angle between the screen surface and the horizontal plane is called the inclination of the screen surface.

When the angle increases, the dropping strength will increase, as a result, the moving speed of the material in the sieve will be accelerated, and the processing capacity of vibration sieve is improved.

But the residence time of the material on the sieve surface is shortened, reducing the chance of the particles going through the screen, so the screening efficiency decreases.

Otherwise, the processing capacity will be reduced and the screening efficiency will be improved.

Vibration parameters include vibration frequency, amplitude, vibration direction angle and screen surface inclination.

According to experience, a vibration cycle of the screen surface exactly equals to the beating cycle of materials, that is to say, once every vibration of the screen surface, the material will appear once dropping movement, and at this time the materials most easily go through the screen.

Such a state of motion is very useful to reduce unnecessary energy consumption and improve screening efficiency of vibrating screen.

However, this is based on a parameter obtained on the basis of the particles beating of the single material.

In fact, the materials in the state of the sieve surface are materials group, often producing friction between the particles of material, thus requiring greater dropping strength.

Therefore, in the actual application, a much higher dropping strength should be chosen.

The angle between the direction of vibration line and the upper screen surface is known as the directive angle of vibration.

The greater the value of the vibrating directive angle, the shorter the distance of the dropping motion of materials each time, the slower the speed of the material moving forward in the sieve surface.

The material can be fully sieved to obtain greater screening efficiency.

Vice versa, the smaller the value of the vibrating directive angle, the longer the distance of the dropping motion of materials each time, the more quickly the materials going through the screen, and the higher the processing capacity.

Therefore, the vibrating directive angle should be chosen reasonably.

For the hard screening materials, the angle should be larger, and for the easy screening materials, the angle could be smaller.
